A balanced metal O-ring is made from high-strength metallic tube developed for use in harsh working circumstances. It's a sealing solution for high-pressure/high-temperature applications with little spring back.
Metal O-rings can be utilized in high temperature (up to 750°C), cryogenic (down to -270°C), high pressure (up to 1500kgf/cm2), high vacuum (up to 1E-9 mmHg), and other extreme static sealing conditions due to their unique structure and composition.

The Balanced Metal O-Ring is a better version of the Metal O-Ring. It may employ system pressure to energize the sealing effect since the tube has vented holes. Balanced Metal O-Ring is a preferable choice if the pressure from the inner or outer medium is quite high.
