Abstract

        In 2020, Shanggu's engineering team faced a series of challenges such as high temperature resistance, high pressure resistance, corrosion resistance, and high processing accuracy requirements for the sealing of key parts in mold hot runners. They successfully broke through the technical difficulties of using thin-walled materials to process inner opening spring reinforced metal C-rings. By controlling the machining accuracy within ± 0.05mm, this metal C-ring can achieve sufficient compression deformation in a limited space, thereby forming a reliable sealing effect.

        After a series of rigorous tests, the results showed that the sealing solution not only achieved sealing effects beyond expectations, but also ensured high reliability sealing that satisfied customers.

Application Challenge
        Serious challenges require ensuring long-term stability of sealing performance to ensure reliable operation of equipment. The sealing of mold hot runner faces the following specific challenges:
    ·Working temperature: The seal should maintain good sealing within the temperature range of -50 ℃ to 400 ℃

        After testing, the leakage rate of the system was reduced to 1 × 10-8 Pa · m/s after applying the Shanggu sealing case, and no leakage occurred under a test pressure of 40MPa.
